<p>As Medical Science Liaison, T1D Immunology within our R&D team, you will serve as the trusted scientific partner in the field for external experts and decision-makers, engaging in mutual scientific exchange to deliver the therapeutic-specific Sanofi medical strategy, capture actionable insights from healthcare providers (HCPs) and key opinion leaders (KOLs), and ultimately support improved health for patients.</p>

<p>The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a field-facing role whose main objectives are to be the trusted scientific partner to key external experts by conducting timely, appropriate, and frequent scientific exchanges to enhance the understanding of the scientific and medical value of our products, generate actionable and valuable insights and propose solutions, create cross-functional partnerships and collaborate with internal stakeholders, and execute the therapeutic area medical plan.</p>
<p>All MSLs comply with the local and corporate compliance frameworks for external and internal interactions and complete all global/local mandatory trainings.</p>

<p>Main Responsibilities</p>
<p>Scientific Engagement and Exchange (60%)</p>
<p>Through scientific engagement and exchange, MSLs build and develop enduring needs-based peer-to-peer relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), key opinion leaders (KOLs) within academic and clinician institutions. </p>
<ul>

<p>MSLs understand HCP/KOLs perspectives and needs to adapt scientific content that is relevant and valued to the healthcare provider. </p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Acting as partners, MSLs identify areas of mutual collaboration and develop and implement territory specific strategic medical action plans that are aligned to the country medical plan.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>MSLs communicate in an accurate, fair, and balanced manner, the benefits, risks, appropriate use and clinical value of our products and solutions. </p>
</li>
<li>
<p>MSLs operate independently (with minimal supervision) and develops health care networks to navigate the complex local health care environments at national, regional, and local levels. </p>

<p>Insight Generation (20%)</p>
<ul>

<p>MSLs generate and share actionable and valuable insights and propose solutions/actions in a timely manner, utilizing appropriate tools available. </p>
</li>
<li>
<p>MSLs gather data, facts and observations on the external healthcare environment and communicate in a timely manner to internal team to support medical strategy and voice of KOL/HCP. </p>
</li>
</ul>
<p>Internal Collaboration (10%)</p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>MSLs work closely with their office based medical colleagues to shape, develop, and co-execute the country medical plan. </p>
</li>
<li>
<p>MSLs develop and maintain an internal stakeholder network.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>MSLs provide scientific support for internal functions such as commercial, market access, regulatory/PV and R&D regarding scientific trainings and updates. </p>
</li>
</ul>
<p>Training/Compliance (10%)</p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Complete all MSL SOP trainings and all other corporate assigned compliance trainings.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Complete the MSL onboarding (and certification) program.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Regularly incorporates continued best practice of the Scientific Engagement Model and Insights process.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Continues to develop and maintain technical therapy area expertise and advanced transversal skills aligned to job competency. </p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Create individual development plan aligned with career aspirations. </p>
</li>
</ul>
<p>About you</p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Medical, Pharmacy or post graduate level science degree (E.g., PharmD, MD/DO, DNP, PhD, PA)</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Clinical Experience in Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) and/or immunology. </p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Fluency in spoken and written business English</p>
