<p> <strong>Headquarters:</strong> San Francisco <br /><strong>URL:</strong> https://growthx.ai/ </p> <strong>About the Role</strong> <p>We’re hiring an <strong>AI Growth Strategist</strong> to own the most critical phase of the customer lifecycle: <strong>turning new customers into confident, long-term partners who see real growth and choose to expand with us.</strong></p> <p>This role is <strong>customer-facing, outcome-driven, and consultative</strong>. You are accountable for onboarding customers, leading early strategy and execution, and converting successful pilots or initial engagements into full-time contracts.</p> <p>You are not just managing delivery — <strong>you are owning momentum</strong>.</p> <p>You’ll work hands-on with customers to define growth strategies rooted in SEO, content, and AI visibility, translate those strategies into execution with our editors and specialists, and ensure customers clearly understand <em>what’s working, why it’s working, and what to do next.</em></p> <strong>What You’ll Do</strong> <ul> <li> <p>Own customer onboarding through early delivery and conversion to long-term contracts.</p> </li> <li> <p>Lead customer strategy across SEO, content, and AI visibility with a clear focus on outcomes.</p> </li> <li> <p>Run weekly or bi-weekly customer meetings and manage all day-to-day communication.</p> </li> <li> <p>Translate performance metrics (traffic, rankings, AI visibility, conversions) into clear business impact.</p> </li> <li> <p>Partner with editors and specialists to ensure high-quality, on-time execution.</p> </li> <li> <p>Remove blockers quickly and step in directly when execution needs hands-on leadership.</p> </li> <li> <p>Identify renewal and expansion opportunities and advance those conversations in partnership with Account Directors.</p> </li> <li> <p>Share learnings and patterns back with the team to improve playbooks and delivery at scale.</p> </li> <li> <p>Operate effectively in a <strong>fast-paced, high-ambiguity environment</strong> where priorities evolve and speed matters.</p> </li> </ul> <strong>Who You Are</strong> <ul> <li> <p>Deeply accountable for customer outcomes and momentum.</p> </li> <li> <p>Consultative, confident, and credible with senior marketing leaders.</p> </li> <li> <p>Hands-on — able to do the work, not just manage it.</p> </li> <li> <p>Commercially minded and comfortable advancing conversion conversations.</p> </li> <li> <p>Highly organized, responsive, and proactive.</p> </li> <li> <p>Comfortable working autonomously in a distributed team, with strong judgment about when to escalate or collaborate.</p> </li> <li> <p>Curious and experienced with AI tools, automation, and modern content systems.</p> </li> <li> <p>Energized by fast-moving environments and building while doing.</p> </li> </ul> <strong>What We’re Looking For</strong> <ul> <li> <p>4–7 years of experience in customer success, engagement management, account strategy, consulting, or agency delivery.</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong background in SEO, content strategy, and performance-driven marketing.</p> </li> <li> <p>Proven experience owning customer relationships and driving renewals or expansions.</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience working with growth-stage or enterprise marketing teams.</p> </li> <li> <p>Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities without sacrificing quality.</p> </li> </ul> <p><strong>To apply:</strong> https://weworkremotely.com/remote-jobs/growthx-ai-ai-growth-strategist-account-management</p>
