You will collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver robust and scalable backend services that power critical features and support rapid growth.</p><ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em">This is a <strong>fully onsite position</strong>, based at our office in Lisbon, where you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in person and contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. <strong>We are open to support with relocation efforts.</strong></p></li></ul><p style="min-height:1.5em"></p>Responsibilities<ul style="min-height:1.5em"><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>API & Service Architecture - </strong>Design and build <strong>RESTful or GraphQL APIs</strong>, microservices, and business logic using <strong>Node.js and TypeScript</strong>.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Database Design & Integration - </strong>Model data and manage queries using <strong>Supabase</strong> and <strong>PostgreSQL</strong>, including functions, row-level security, and real-time features.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Cloud Infrastructure - </strong>Deploy and manage services on <strong>Google Cloud Platform (GCP)</strong>, particularly with <strong>Cloud Run</strong>, Cloud Functions, IAM, and Pub/Sub.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Code Quality & Testing - </strong>Write clean, testable code using <strong>unit, integration, and end-to-end testing</strong> frameworks (e.g., Jest). Contribute to code reviews and quality assurance practices.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Security & Reliability - </strong>Implement secure-by-default solutions for <strong>authentication</strong>, <strong>authorization</strong>, and <strong>data protection</strong>, following Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles.</p></li><li><p style="min-height:1.5em"><strong>Monitoring & Operations - </strong>Set up <strong>logging, monitoring, and alerting</strong> for backend services.
